Schuyler Health Foundation Kicks Off New Fundraiser, Raffle for Jet Ski

MONTOUR FALLS – The Schuyler Health Foundation has kicked off a new fundraiser for Schuyler Hospital and Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility – a raffle for a jet ski. Tickets are available now through Saturday, June 17, 2017, when the jet ski winner will be drawn at the conclusion of the Watkins Glen Waterfront Festival. Sponsored by Ithaca Recreation Sports, the winner will take home a 2017 Sea-Doo Spark 2up Rotax 900 ACETM and trailer – a $6,700 value. Winner responsible for paying sales tax.

Schuyler Hospital Recognizes Employees for 350 Years of Combined Service

MONTOUR FALLS – At their annual Employee Recognition Dinner on May10, 2017, Schuyler Hospital recognized employees for 5 to 25 years of service. In all, 34 employees were recognized for a total of 350 years of combined experience at the hospital and skilled nursing facility. The evening’s celebration was held at Chateau LaFayette Reneau, and catered by Ithaca Bakery.

Deadline Nearing for Schuyler Hospital Auxiliary Health Care Scholarships

MONTOUR FALLS –– Applications must be postmarked by May 29, 2017, for $1,000 scholarships the Schuyler Hospital Auxiliary is awarding to students who plan to enter the health care field. Scholarships will be awarded to graduating high school students who are residents of Schuyler County, and to hospital employees wishing to further their education in the health care field. Applications may be found on-line at on the Auxiliary page. Applications may also be picked up at high school guidance offices, and the Hospital’s Human Resources office.
